Goodco Studios is committed to creating pieces that are emotional, tactile, and honest. Light and composition are our vessels to carry the visual story. Listening ears, relationships, and empathy, allow us to build a story-driven foundation. Connecting with someone’s work is a very personal experience. It can even be hard to describe why you like something, but you know the feeling when it hits your gut. We appreciate you giving us a chance to spend meaningful time with you, to capture your story, because of an indescribable feeling.

HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED

I grew up in a household that loved creating home movies. Thank my dad for the hundreds of video cassettes collected over the years. It felt like our camcorder always had a fresh set of batteries and plenty of record time. We’d film everything from birthday parties, camping trips, amateur level kung fu movies, and even random Sunday afternoons. I spent summers watching them back for fun. It was honestly one of my favorite ways to pass time as a kid. I’m sure there is some irony in there somewhere, haha.

Fast forward to the current day, I’ve been lucky enough to play historian for amazing couples around the world. From the dramatic scenes of Iceland, romantic southern coast of Italy, warm sands of Kauai, valleys of New Zealand, cliff jumping in Mallorca, to the mountaintops of Switzerland, my passport has been a true beneficiary. I left a stable career in healthcare to pursue something quite special. It means so much to me that this is the legacy that I get to leave behind.

I’d like to think that the stories I put together are created with a sense of honesty and sensibility. Films that don’t really follow trends, but rather the couple. I would love for us to feel less like a friend by way of the internet and more like one you met in real life. It is only in this way we can create films that are emotional, tactile, and timeless.
